RETURN & CREDITÂ POLICY AND LEGAL
We founded Somm Things with one goal in mind: giving our customers a fair, rewarding and enjoyable experience. We conduct business according to the same values, knowing that better service equals loyal customers. Breakages
If you receive a case of wine with one or more broken bottles, simply let us know and provide a photo within 2 working days of the date of delivery and we will issue you with an account credit equal to the price paid by you for the broken bottles.
Please note that risk of damage, loss or deterioration to product passes to the buyer upon delivery and therefore no refunds are offered for products that are damaged after you have accepted the delivery
Corked Wine or Faulty Wine
If you come across a corked or faulty wine the bottle must be return to Somm Things for examination by our sommeliers, we will issue you with an account credit equal to the price paid by you for the faulty bottles. Bottle must be missing less than 50ml and return no longer than one month after the delivery.
Exceptions
If Somm Things reasonably believes that a buyer is abusing our Refund Policy, Somm Things reserves the right to suspend or cancel the Credit in relation to that buyer, cancel any pending orders and/or close that buyer's account
-Liquor must be delivered to a person aged 18 or over.
-Under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 it is an offence . To supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years (Penalty exceeds $17,000) . For a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor. (Penalty exceeds $700)
The supply of liquor is limited as follows: . Wine - No more than 12 bottles, of 750ml each, per order per customer per day. . Beer and Cider - No more than 12 bottles of 750ml each or 36 bottles of 330ml each per order per customer per day. . Spirit - No more than 5 bottles of 750ml each per order per customer per day. If more than 1 type of liquor is supplied as part of an order then the overall quantity of above products supplied is limited to no more than 12 bottles of 750ml capacity or 36 bottles of 330ml capacity per order customer per day
